Attention Mason County Central Families, there will be a Back to School Backpack Bonanza coming up on Wednesday August 2nd from 3:00 - 6:00 pm at the Ludington area Jaycee's Mini golf course. Enjoy free mini golf, face painting, balloon creations, and score a free backpack with back to school supplies. Event limited to the first 300 participants.

Our 2nd grade classes had an exciting visitor today. Mr. Griswold and his son Gavin came in to talk about bee's. All of the kids had so much fun! Thank you Mr. Griswold for taking time out of your day to come and educate our 2nd graders on bee's.

The WSESD and the Special Education Parent Advisory Committee sponsored its 8th annual "Make a Difference" Awards at WSCC on Friday night, June 2.
This special event recognizes the outstanding people, agencies, and businesses throughout Lake, Mason, and Oceana County that have significantly and positively impacted the education and success of students with special needs.
We would like to send out a Huge Congratulations to MCC general education teachers Jon Hackney and Ron Tyndall who both teach in our Middle School. They were both recognized for their dedication and hard work and received engraved plaques at the event!
Attention Scottville Elementary Parents, Now through the last day of school, all items from the lost and found will be in our front hallway by the main entrance. If your child is missing any items, please come take a peek any school day from 7:45-8:10am or 3:10-3:30pm. After June 9th, all items in the lost and found will be donated.
