The annual Student Council awards are today. A large amount of scholarships are given away to our seniors as well as recognizing our athletics, clubs, and organizations, and athletics.
On Friday, Mr. Weinert’s Botany Class harvested multiple types of lettuce, cilantro, and green beans. They then sat down together and ate the harvest.

Central baseball wins the Ace Hardware tournament with a 12-0 victory over Hart. Softball loses a heartbreaker to 13-12 in the finals.
Hosting the Ace Hardware tournament here in Scottville today. Baseball won game one over Ludington 3-0. Will Chye pitches the shut-out. Softball beats Ludington 17-11 after the time limit. Spartans play Hart later in the day.
Mrs. Rodriguez's students moved around to different groups today looking at a World War I gallery walk to examine post war culture. Great strategy to meet the standards, but also move around and make observations!

Last night we celebrated our senior plaque winners at the HG Bacon Awards for academic excellence. Great dinner at Lincoln Hills and a great, bright group of seniors.
At the end of this month we are having a physical night at the High School. It will be Thursday May 25th. 2-6pm. Cost is $10.00 cash. This is good for all of next year's athletes. So incoming 6th graders, 7th and 8th graders, and all high schoolers that plan on playing a sport next year 2023-2024. (This is just for MCC athletes) You will need to use the QR code to sign up for the event so look out for a printed copy to come home with your students.
