We had a great night at Lincoln Hills for the H.G. Bacon senior plaque awards for academic excellence. Congratulations to all of our recipients of a 3.33 GPA or higher for every trimester of their high school career.

A great run comes to an end as Central MarioKart falls to #1 ranked Richmond in the quarter-finals. Good season, Spartans!


MCC Forensics had a phenomenal weekend at the state finals — we have a new state champion in Oratory, Jacob Failor, and Helena Snell took third place in Poetry. Maggie Robel, Darnel Hunter, and Trinniti Arnold all in the semi-final. Good season, Spartans and Coach Moore!


Today was school lunch hero day!!! This is a little late posting but we want to tell our food service department how thankful we are to have them and for all of the things they do above and beyond just lunch!! You all are rockstars!!!

Mr. Tuka had the privilege of presenting seniors Jose Lopez and Eathan Huffman at the Top Senior Luncheon of the West Michigan Conference at the Double J Resort. Based on academic work, citizenship, and extracurricular involvement, all 14 schools of the WMC were represented.



Spartans Esports defeats Reed City and the MCC Spartans are in the Elite 8!!! The Mario Kart team races against the #1 ranked Richmond Community High School is the Quarter Final Round on Monday May 5! One more win and we travel to Oakland University on Saturday May 10th. 🔥

Big time honors for Hunter Kapala for receiving all-state honors in Esports for Mariokart Deluxe and Coach Tim Danielson hone being named a Coach Honoree !
Mariokart team takes on Reed City tonight in the state playoffs. Go Spartans!



It's not Pointallism, but a project called "Wordallism" in Ms. Brock's art class. Student are letting their creativity loose with words and art together.





Powderpuff volleyball championship game with the seniors prevailing over the juniors 29-21. Remember all proceeds this week go to the Lakeshore animal friends and the Scottville senior center.

MCC freshmen visited Ferris State University for the MI Career Quest event on Wednesday to explore a variety of careers.










Mrs. Quinteros's Spanish 2B made a trip to El Rancho Restaurant today. All orders had to be made in the Spanish Language. The students had a great time and good food.





Congratulations to Mallory Miller on her signing to play basketball at Jackson College! Mallory was an all-stater this year and finished 1,148 career points for 4th all-time in MCC girls basketball.






We held post-prom after prom on Saturday night. Thanks to Mrs. Houser for all of her work to hold the event & Mrs. Vidak for her help. Thanks to our staff and parent volunteers as well! We appreciate our see the picture with our sponsor list!







The MCC esports Mario Kart team won their 1st round playoff match against Howell 2-0! The #8 Spartans will race against #24 Reed Citi on Thursday 5/1 in the Sweet 16.

Charity week this week! One activity is Powder volleyball. Students paid $1.00 to watch today's game between the Freshmen and the Juniors. Juniors prevailed 31-23. Proceeds this week go to Lakeshore Animal Friends and the Scottville Center.
