If you have a child that will be 4 on or before September 1st 2024 please call Ms Angie to make an appointment to register them for Pre School. Even if your child won't be 4 until on or before December 1st 2024 please still make an appointment to come see Ms. Angie.
GSRP Preschool parents will need to bring a copy of the child’s birth certificate and a copy of your 2023 W2’s, or other income verification such as check stubs
or completed 2023 income taxes.

This is the big one! The Outstanding Senior Award at the MCC High School Student Council Awards was presented by Mrs. Gerhart and won by Riley Mast!


The Outstanding Junior Award at the MCC High School Student Council Awards was presented by Mr. Richert and won by Elliette Thomas!


The Outstanding Sophomore Award at the MCC High School Student Council Awards was presented by Ms. Brock and won by Lucy O'Harra!


The Outstanding Freshman Award at the MCC High School Student Council Awards was presented by Mrs. Rodriguez and won by Pierce Bladzik!

Aidan Hilliker Quentin Lange Eli Gonzalez Max Miles broke the school record in the 4x100. 44.78 3rd place and qualified for state. Way to go, Spartans!

Mason county central schools would like to remind parents that there will be no school for students tomorrow, Friday May 17th as our staff will be participating in a professional development day. We hope you enjoy your long weekend and we look forward to seeing you all back on Monday May 20th.


Tonight, Mr Richert had his last awards banquet as a Forensics Coach after 34 years. After the banquet Forensics hosted “A Night of Champions” where they gave their final performances of the season in front of friends, family and Spartan Community members.





We had 30 people attend the last MCC ‘Family’ Game Knights of the year! different games were played and there were members teaching their parents how to play! Thank you to all of our sponsors! We will try to meet over the summer a couple of times. Roll for initiative and GAME ON!





Today, in Mr Weinert’s Botany Class, students had a unique adventure. They got to visit and walk on a bog, which holds 2 Michigan native carnivorous plants, the Pitcher Plant and Sundew. The students are basically walking over a lake on a floating mat of Sphagnum Moss.





Thanks to the Arrive Alive organization for brining their driving simulator to MCC today. Students experienced the effects and dangers of driving distracted and under the influence.




Spartan Baseball wins the Ernie Stine tournament with wins over Lakeview and Belding! ⚾️ 🏆


We honored our senior H.G. Bacon plaque award for academic excellence tonight. A fine banquet for a fine group of high academic achievers!


The Spanish 2B class celebrated Cinco De Mayo with vibrant enthusiasm, immersing themselves in the rich cultural heritage of Mexico! ¡Viva Mexico!

Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 8th; will be the annual MCC Community Agriculture Night held at our Upper Elementary parking lots from 5:30 until 7:30pm. There will many sites and activities available for the whole family; such as free ice cream from the Mason County Dairy Farmers, free hot dogs from Lakeside Weiner Wagon and Sanders Meats of Custer, wagon rides, farm animals, WSESD Book Bus, and SO MUCH MORE! You won't want to miss this event! See the attached flyer for more information!


Please come on out to hear a wonderful musical treat on Thursday May 9th at 6pm as the Mason County Central Middle and High School Bands and Choir perform their Spring concert. Held at the A.O. Carlson Gymnasium in the High School.
